Danger Mouse Reaps Doom on E.M.I.

You probably know Danger Mouse for The Grey Album mashup consisting of Jay-Z acapellas from 'The Black Album' and instrumental samples from The Beatles' The White Album in 2004. If you're like me you'd know him from more intimate projects like Gnarls Barkley and DANGERDOOM.

Anyway, Danger Mouse has had issues with releasing his album on EMI due to various legal troubles, but that's not going to stop this "Super Mouse". News is his next album will be released as album artwork with a blank recordable CD.

Yes, the CD's you used to burn and never label. Why? 'Cuz if there was music on it EMI would skin him like sheep. Leakage anyone? CDR + Album Leaks = You Sly Mouse You. Now nobody is suggesting that you illegaly download music... all he's saying is buy the album if you want a limited edition, hand numbered 100+ page book (and a blank cd worthless as a rock tablet).

Dark Night Of The Soul, the name of the album, is floating around somewhere if you're interested.
